Dr Omobola Johnson is Nigeria’s Honorable Minister of Communication Technology. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester, a Master’s degree in Digital Electronics from King's College, London and a Doctor of Business Administration degree in the School of Management from Cranfield University.
She joined Accenture, an international management consulting firm in 1985 and was in Accenture for twenty five years (five as Country Managing Director), working with a cross-section of companies in a variety of industries; successfully transforming them into more competitive and dynamic organisations. She is also the founding Chairperson and member of Board of Trustees of Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ) a non-governmental organisation that seeks to improve the success rate of female entrepreneurs and increase the proportion of women in senior positions in corporate organisations.
